Process & Learnings
Asked to join all PM meetings with Director of Operations and Director of Design and Marketing
Impact outsources its app development and design to Sidebench originally; I learned about the granular details of each development "Spring" process and the balancing act our side and Sidebench's PM constantly performs to maintain business operations, short term goals and long term sustainability
Actively participated and produced input in "Problem Solving" sessions in order to think about the next steps in the product development process
Be proactive and take initiatives at all times - initially I was outside the loop for anything related to their new app, but I was most interested in the app development, so I audited all clients meetings and asked to join all app meetings, as well as created the Writer Profile UIUX mockups after gathering insights. I then presented my concepts to the board of directors during PM meeting with Sidebench - they graciously approved my designs and claimed it was "way better than Sidebench" and they'd "want to have what I designed as the app". From then on, I was always asked to join any discussions regarding the app and pitch in ideas
